I guess the most reasonable post to make at this juncture is the post-Christmas post (lolz). Christmas was good! I worked 6AM-2PM on Christmas Eve and then basically went to straight to Mass from there (after mowing down a McDouble in the car) which was as wildly busy as always! Then we watched Muppet Christmas Carol, which is, of course, the best Christmas movie in the world.
Up at 8AM on Christmas morning to open presents. Family haul was: the Belle historical Disney print I'd been wanting, a GPS (which I then picked out and ordered for myself), a kitchen prep set, a mirror with a bird on it that I bought at Pier One with money from my grandparents, and a certificate for bra fitting + bra which was...sort of weird to open but is something I want/need, so hooray! Then I showered, ate cinnamon rolls, and piled into the car to take nearly 10 pounds of prime rib to my grandparents. We opened presents there, which yielded the expected check, check, and box of See's Candy (woo!). Then my grandpa somehow ended up giving my dad and sister random things he had lying around the house and wanted to find something for me. Which is how I became the proud owner of a neon orange CAR FRIDGE. That's right! It's shaped like a tiny retro fridge and plugs into the cigarette lighter in a car and supposedly will fit approx. 6 soda cans. I don't know when/why I will use this, but it's pretty amazing. Then MEAT MEAT MEAT and back home to decompress.
The big thing I wanted this Christmas was a tablet, which I knew I'd need to pick out myself with Xmas funds. But the world apparently doesn't think I need one, since the tablet I picked out as Best Buy is apparently secretly discontinued, and now my second choice tablet appears unavailable on either Best Buy or Amazon. WHAT THE FUCK.
And there's the end. Resolutions to come if I end up thinking of any, I guess \_o_O_/
