I last posted in June? Wow. Well then! Stuff has happened since then!

I got a job! A permanent one (even though it's only part time) and, get this, it's with a MAGAZINE :D I'm an editorial assistant for a hobby magazine, and it's really pretty grand. It's small, but I get to proof things and I update the website and send people checks. I wish that I could just do that...unfortunately, part time isn't quite enough. I'm still working the rest of my hours at the temp gig I've been at since March, but that's probably going to be wrapping up in November and I don't know what's next! I might try to keep temping, but that's so variable. Maybe retail, but I'd prefer not to have to work at night...it would be really nice to work somewhere fairly low-key, maybe something issue-based. We'll see! It would be amazing if in the future I could work part-time and support myself part-time on a freelance basis.

Otherwiiise, I am on a serious apartment hunt! I'm really hoping to get moved out this fall, so fingers crossed that I can find the right place. I'm looking for a place with my best friend from college, and I'm pumped to make it happen. I've been three places so far, and we're seeing another one (maybe two) tomorrow. It's hard to balance the stuff I want with the stuff I can afford with the stuff on the market but that's life, I guess!

Obviously I'm not journaling much...I still read my flist everyday, but for the most part I'm on twitter and tumblr if you want to find me! I'm writing a fill on the TDKR kink meme? And I submitted a piece of original erotica to an anthology. That's about the major sources of excitement in my life!
