the tale of the baby begins when mikey has a cousin who has a baby who has to go to a thing of some kind? and in some sort of brain fever leaves mikey in charge of the baby. at least, that is bob's opinion because mikey is like dude i am awesome with babies. bob is super stressed out about it and is sure mikey is going to leave the baby somewhere or hold it wrong or potentially trade it for some really sweet vinyl, so he followers her around all day to make sure nothing goes wrong. which just makes everyone who sees them coo and be all bawwwww what a sweet couple, what a nervous daddy, first time? and mikey is like YEP HE'S A TOTAL MOTHER HEN and they're like awwww and bob is like :||| but...it's kind of fun, watching a baby with mikey, once he accepts that she isn't going to drop it. they go to the park and watch the ducksss and he's pretty sure that the guy at the record store gives them a better deal after he plays a little coochie-coo with the baby. all in all, it's a good day, and bob is kind of sorry when mikey's cousin comes to pick baby up, watching out the window as the drive away. mikey sidles over and elbows him and is all "don't worry dude, cousin has to go shopping again some time." but though bob doesn't say anything NOW the germ has been planted in his head. he might...be interested in this sort of thing. with mikey :3
